Process
The policy for admission to Our Lady of Victory Catholic School establishes five priority levels for new students. Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age by August 31st, to be eligible for enrollment. The priority levels are as follows:
The student is:
- currently enrolled in the OLV Preschool (registration fee waived for OLV Preschool families)
- a sibling of an OLV School student.
- a member of OLV or Good Shepherd Parish.
- a member of another Catholic parish.
- other
To be assigned one of these priority levels a complete application consisting of the completed registration form and the registration fee with current immunizations records, birth certificate and baptismal certificate attached, must be received in the school office by end of day (3:30 PM) on the 2nd Friday in March.
Your priority will be assigned as applications are accepted, and students will be enrolled with the applications on file on Friday. Applications received after Friday will not be assigned a priority level and students will be enrolled or added to a waiting list in the order applications are submitted.
On the first Monday in February but before the 2nd Friday in March, if there are more applications at any priority level than openings, then a lottery system will be used to assign the remaining openings. A waiting list will be maintained after all openings are filled.
A completed application consists of the following:
- Completed registration form
- Non-refundable registration fee (see fee schedule below)
- Current immunization status at time of registration
- Copy of birth certificate or Passport
- Copy of baptismal certificate

International Students must have a student visa and I-20 prior to submitting a registration form for consideration for enrollment. No exceptions will be made.
Kindergarten students: To enter school in September, your child must be current with required five-year-old immunizations, with proof submitted to the school office before the first day of school As of 9-1-02, the varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine date or month/year of the disease is required for kindergarten students, 7th grade students, and new students entering school for the first time A physician report of a physical examination occurring no earlier than May of the current school year must be submitted to the school office upon completion.
Kindergarten Students must be 5 years old and 1st grade students must be 6 years old by September 1st to be eligible for enrollment.
For students entering grades 1-8 from other schools, your health and academic records will be obtained from your previous school, but a copy of current immunizations must be submitted to the school office before the first day of school. As of 9/1/02, the varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine date or month/year of the disease is required for kindergarten students, 7th grade students, and new students entering school, this also must be submitted before the first day of school.
