Volunteers
OLVCS could not function efficiently without the dedication of our volunteers. Many opportunities exist for our parents and friends to share their time and talent to enhance our various programs, events and classroom activities.
As part of the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese, OLVCS shares in their commitment in providing well prepared and trained adults to assist our children.
All of our volunteers are required to complete the Protecting God's Children training that is mandated by the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese before volunteering in any capacity at our school. This process begins by attending a three hour training session designed to educate our parents in how to protect our children from potentially dangerous adults and/or situations. After attending this session and completing required paperwork and clearances, you are invited to begin a very rewarding experience as an OLVCS volunteer.
